I LOVE that you love Cracheuse de flammes! It was also my favourite when it launched here in Tokyo last year. Serge Lutens doesn’t get enough love on TikTok—you are one of the only creators who really appreciates/values the iconic and original perfumes they create. I’ve been wearing FdB since the 1992 Shiseido release. My current go-to is the underrated Le perce-vent—a very ‘Serge’ take on musk… no ethereal garden fairies, just icy air, clary sage and the memory of a former beau’s freshly laundered white linen shirt. Would you ever share your Serge collection in a post?

I really think it’s time to go back to the old but gold perfumes.They never left my collection because truly almost all the new perfumes,all this gourmands and niches are becoming so generic and does not have the “rich smell vibe” for the lack of a better word but the new perfumes just don’t have that oomph.

I’d love to hear your take on Oboro, which Byredo released the month before Future Memories. It’s currently a Japan exclusive, but if you like De Los Santos, I think you’ll love this—it’s so intensional evocative of Japan in summer and it’s also beautifully blended.
