I loved her, but loving someone and knowing how to love them properly are two different things. I didn’t always know how to show her what she meant to me, I let my moods, my pride, and little misunderstandings get between us. Instead of talking things through, sometimes I pulled away. Sometimes I became cold. And every time I did that, I think I made her feel a little less loved omor, I have a terrible way of dealing with my emotions. One minute I’m completely obsessed with her, wanting to talk to her, wanting her attention, wanting to know everything about her. Then the next minute, I’m upset over something small she did and I shut down like she never meant anything to me

I don’t even know where to star..I gave my heart to someone I genuinely cared about, but somewhere along the way I started feeling like I was the only one fighting to keep things together. I stayed quiet about many things, hoping they would change, and kept forgiving because my feelings were real. Maybe I wasn’t perfect, but I know I loved genuinely. What hurts most is realizing that sometimes you can give someone your heart and still end up feeling like you were never enough. 💔🥀
