Last year, we visited this beautiful 86-year-old grandmother while she was caring for her husband during his illness. We stood with them, supported them, and shared a moment we would never forget. Sadly, her husband has since passed away. 💔 Now she is living alone. When we heard the news, we knew we had to return, not only with help, but to remind her that she is still loved, remembered, and cared for. ❤️ We brought her enough food supplies to help sustain her for the coming months, and we also gave her financial support to help with her medication and other essential needs. But perhaps the most important thing we brought was our presence, the reassurance that even after losing someone so dear to her, she does not have to feel forgotten. This entire visit and all the support we provided was made possible by our former volunteer, Debby. 🙏❤️ Debby, thank you for continuing to stand with the people you met through our work. Your kindness traveled across the miles and reached this grandmother when she needed it most. Sometimes changing someone’s life isn’t about doing something enormous. Sometimes it’s simply saying: “We remember you. We still care. And we came back.” ❤️ May we never forget our elderly. May we continue showing up for people, not only during their happiest moments, but also during their most difficult ones. 🌍❤️ #allanchildrenministries #allanchildrenfoundation
