He was super cut off from the world, he wasn’t up to date on news or movies or tv things , so sad 💔😪 he partly chose to not read any tabloids or magazines so when he saw the billboard of his sisters movie it caught him off guard guard 😪

No but It’s pretty well known that he was somewhat distant from his family at certain points but what really interests me is why he was so distant from Janet specifically?? Maybe they did have private conversations and meetings that we just didn’t know about but even then, I don’t really think they were thinking about each other or reaching out to each other most of the time

this is why i say they weren’t as close as people make it seem. they were the two busiest siblings of that family and barely talked. as much as fans try to talk down on her, michael and toya were tighter since they're closer in age, and janet is way closer to randy because they're the babies (she’s said so herself plus he manages her career for a reason)

Yall saying they weren’t close .. yes they were … him and Janet use to dance together , clean together etc. …she said that when thriller era happened she felt a shift of him being focused on his work and then after that she got busy ……so they both were just bus but Michael did like to watch or read anything online because they were so hateful to him .. so I get why he didn’t know ..

Okay everyone saying him and Janet weren’t tight is crazy first we don’t know these people secondly yes Marlon and Latoya he was closer to them but he also stated that he was really close to Randy and Janet in there younger years bc you forget Marlon and Michael are like the middle children and Janet used to take care of Michael do his laundry bring him food run groceries stuff he just couldn’t do anymore he’s been close with his younger and older siblings throught the years but Janet and Marlon are the ones who never publicly bashed him so we would assume after long continuation of sibling relationship Marlon and Janet would have been the closest to Michael.

They were siblings but they rarely knew what the other had going on, they didn’t even record Scream together, there was a bit of rivalry between them and I think in a way it made Janet her own person and not just “Michael Jackson sister”

Jackie said in an interview that Janet doesn't talk about her music/projects with him. I doubt she was ever that close to her older brothers. Michael was constantly dragged by the press. He probably formed a habit of not watching TV often.

They were close but Michael started pushing everyone away after the first allegation. Toya was one of the people that had lied when she was married. And he was super close to her when he was younger. He was hurt and he trusted the wrong people. His managing team also tried to create a rift between him and Janet even when they did the Scream music video. The only people he truly kept in touch were his nephews
