@bigbamwolf: Layering Combo Day 83: Aventus 17S01 + Severo Top: The opening is a cocktail. Severo cracks open like a cold Coca Cola with rum and lime, a proper Cuba Libre fizz, while 17S01 sits underneath it woody and earthy and already grown up. The soda stops the woods from feeling too serious, the woods stop the soda from feeling like a party trick. Mid: As it settles, Severo turns smoky. Birch, davana and black pepper cut into the sweetness and leave a green bitter edge, while 17S01 answers with a warmer amber and a quiet thread of vanilla underneath. This is the part where it stops smelling like a drink and starts smelling like a person. Drydown: The drydown goes smooth and dry. Vanilla, white musk and amber from Severo settle into the citrus musky finish of 17S01, and the cola is only a memory sitting under everything else.
