us humans can be lazy and over dominant....we are the only species on earth that captures and forces service upon each other...and every nation on earth has done it...including Africa...but that's never going to change...humans are foul creatures...because of this false concept of "POWER" we think we have the authority to control another life...even having a child is kinda like slavery in reverse at the beginning but as they grow older it becomes a "power" dynamic...

Africans raided into Eastern Europe for slaves so often that the English word slave derives from the word Slavic a term for the people of Eastern Europe. We don't have to imagine that world, it existed for far longer than slavery was legal in the US. Slavery is wrong, but we as a society need to quit pretending America was uniquely involved in it. An African imported slavery as a practice into the US from Africa where it was common, and it was a common practice in much of Asia as well. The British were the ones who first started banning slavery internationally, and making it stick. Americans were not uniquely involved on either side of this issue, just another imperfect actor in a world replete with them.
