@oliveandoilstudioshop: Happy Tolkien Week & Hobbit Day! ✨May we overcome the darkness of day and find the true danger of light and joy along the way.✨ Aside from a few modifications, I made the mulled wine of Moria from Recipes from the World of Tolkien cookbook by Robert Tuesley Anderson. The original recipe is also fantastic, which I used to make before I stopped drinking. 🧀🍷🍂 - Instead of red wine and brandy, I used a non-alcoholic version of each - I omitted the lemon - I used 1/2 cup sugar instead of 2/3 - Since I couldn’t find whole cloves, I used a teaspoon of ground cloves (hence the tea filter) This hearty beverage is a perfect accompaniment for your hobbit feast, salted pork, or any time you’re bringing in the fall season and aren’t quite ready to go full pumpkin spice yet. Or ever. ✨Cheese pairing is Camembert and aged cheddar. Rosemary pecan crackers. Delicious combo!
