@thesydneyzoo: Today is World Rhino Day 🦏 Meet Tino, our Southern White Rhino, and hear from Zookeeper Jess about the challenges rhinos face in the wild. While Southern White Rhinos are currently listed as near Threatened, poaching remains one of the biggest threats to rhino populations, with rhinos still being targeted for their horns. The good news? Small choices can make a big difference. When travelling, choose wildlife-friendly souvenirs such as locally made arts and crafts, and avoid products made from wildlife. Every purchase matters. 💚 #SydneyZoo #WorldRhinoDay #RhinoConservation #SaveWildlife
