ive got 2 best mates. I talk to 1 every day numerous times a day 34yrs. 2nd one 10yrs we dont see each other for 6months to a year at times. we however check in every week or 2. when needed shes there n vise versa even though we are both busy.

I’ve had three best friends. Different times different parts of my life. I’ve lost them all. They’ve betrayed me they have all three betrayed me and made fun of me behind my back and or stolen from me. All I have is my boyfriend now. And it’s been almost 5 years. He’s my best friend he’s my soulmate. He’s my second half.

Maybe unpopular opinion but no I don‘t want my friends to only be there when it matters. We are friends since school times.. like for around 20 years. We were so close to each other but since years now we talk maybe every 3 months, if even. One of them was even my neighbor for a period of one year. I mean we lived in the same house, just 20 stairsteps away from each other and we met up maybe 3 times in this period because she is always „busy“. Sorry but I don‘t need friends to only be there when there is „a problem“ and when „it matters“. Let‘s be real.
