I come from a large family with paternal aunts cousins grandmother and granfather. Chicken wings were cut into three pieces for children and I would get that small boney piece at the end of the wing. My mother was mostly away staying in the township. Even today I still tell my grandkids about that harsh treatment.

🇺🇸 Cincinnati, Ohio, United States — May 28, 2016 On May 28, 2016, a 3-year-old boy climbed through a barrier at the Cincinnati Zoo and fell 10–15 feet into the Gorilla World enclosure. Inside was Harambe, a 17-year-old western lowland gorilla weighing over 400 pounds. For nearly 10 minutes, Harambe interacted with the child. Some witnesses described moments where he appeared protective, standing over the boy—while others reported violent behavior, including dragging the child through the water. Zoo officials were faced with a critical, time-sensitive decision. Although tranquilizers were an option, they would have taken several minutes to work and could have agitated the animal, potentially putting the child in greater danger. The zoo’s Dangerous Animal Response Team made the decision to fatally shoot Harambe to save the child. The boy survived with non-life-threatening injuries and was released from the hospital the same day. The incident quickly sparked global debate: •	Was Harambe acting aggressively or protectively? •	Was lethal force the only option? •	Who was responsible for the situation? Animal rights groups like PETA criticized zoos, while others supported the decision as necessary to protect human life. In the aftermath, Harambe became one of the most unexpected viral symbols in internet history—turning a tragic event into a worldwide discussion about animals, responsibility, and ethics. A moment that still raises difficult questions today. 🎥 Follow @darklens_30 for more dark true crime & shocking history like this. #viral #reels #History #news #truecrime
