I honestly never thought I would have to make a video like this, especially after my wedding. 💔😭 I met a vendor called EventByMuse on Instagram and contacted her for my event decoration. We agreed on the decoration, and the total cost was ₦300,000. Initially, I paid 50% upfront, which was part of our agreement. However, before my event, she personally insisted that I pay the remaining 50%, making me pay her the full ₦300,000 before my big day. Because I trusted her and believed she would deliver the service we agreed on, I paid the remaining balance in full. But unfortunately, on my big day, she did not show up to decorate for my event. 💔😭 I was left heartbroken, disappointed, stranded, and traumatized on one of the most important days of my life. Imagine planning your special day, trusting a vendor, paying her in full because she insisted on receiving the complete payment, and then being left without the service you paid for. After the event, she eventually spoke to me and explained that she did not show up because her mother had been rushed to the hospital. While I understand that emergencies can happen, we asked her for the name of the hospital so we could visit and confirm that everything was okay, but she refused to provide the information. I also asked her to refund my full payment of ₦300,000, since the service was not provided, but she refused to refund me. I am sharing my personal experience and exactly what happened to me. I have evidence of our conversations and payments. I just want answers, accountability, and a refund of my full payment.
