This is gonna be a bit long but I hope it helps those who feel far from God. When I felt the farthest from him and was drinking a bunch I encountered him. I was at the gas station while my husband was getting a haircut. I heard a voice tell me that when I get out of the gas station they’ll be a homeless man standing out there and that I need to pray for him. I was all like no way, I’m just telling myself that. I walk out and I see a homeless man standing there asking for cigarettes. I was shocked that the voice wasn’t me, it was the Holy Spirit because how else would I know that man would be there. I was like “God I can’t do it, why now?” I hadn’t prayed for someone in so long. So I drove away. Within the next twenty minutes, not once, but twice I saw this man again. And the third time I went up and prayed for him. He told me he would love prayer and that him and his girlfriend were ill. Just a reminder that you’re never too far and that he uses us in ways we can’t imagine. Jesus loves you ❤️
