In my opinion pocket camp was a good evolution of the art style! It was still cozy but higher quality, not to mention the furniture items and decorations were soooo much better it was crazy for a free game compared with what it costed on the switch

New Leaf was PEAK. They need to make the next headline game have the villagers from Wild World, the charm, music and many things from New Leaf with the customization from New Horizon.

nh has its own strengths as a game, but I think in comparison to new leaf its lacking. it feels like a different game entirely, more a sandbox/ decorating game rather than a life sim, and I think the villagers and sense of community is what makes animal crossing the game it is. nh misses the point/ tried to reinvent the wheel and it doesn't work that well (in my case and many others, my favourite part of the games were the sense of community and small village vibe)

the step from wild world to new leaf made the game loose a lot of vibes. and new horizons lost them entirely. everything got so polite and soulless. the colors are horrible.

NH has a very plastic shiny feel which was very hard on my eyes for the one year I gave it a shot. I’m back to new leaf and it’s just so cozy!

I love The vibes and content of New leaf God I just wish it had outdoor decorating I can't believe it took until New horizons for them to finally think "hey maybe they want to put a chair outside" it's just a shame that literally every other aspect of animal crossing had to suffer just so we could have that. like is it so hard to do both??
