You will move up to pressure garments with silicone or at least I did. It's much better than having to release scar bands and like with my hand they can only do it so much. I had a pressure garment for my face and it truly looked like something from a nightmare.

That's really interesting! I know scar tissue really tightens things up a lot, and a lot of times you will see burn survivors with their arms permanently bent because of not having this to aid them along.

Keep your arm straight? So do the burns angle them? I can see how burns would tighten the skin but I would assume it would make the arm less movable, i.e. less bending, unless the burning on the front and back was different.

Could you explain why the skin on your arms is particularly textured? Is it due to the actual burn scarring or some kind of skin graft? Does it itch a lot?
