@therealhg: 🎣 I am blown away at how small this world is! My great grandfather, Rufus Eubank, invented the sureslayer fishing lure years ago… it’s hard to find anything on it nowadays because they could never keep up with the production unfortunately… but he was very well known around the smith mountain lake VA & buggs island lake area. I hear he was the best fisherman of his time! It made my day this morning to find out that someone I know, knew him. 💚🎣 #sureslayerfishinglure #smithmountainlake #fishing #fishinglure #History

Well… that had me go on a Google search. I search Sure-Slayer lure and whole bunch comes up about that and you Great Grandpa Rufus Eubank. There is a big possibility that either my dad or I had one of these lures in our tackle box while I was growing up.
