@quranify.app: Alaa Aqel is an Egyptian Quran reciter and teacher, widely known for his heartfelt recitation and dedication to the teaching of the Holy Quran. Born in 1996 in Menoufia Governorate, Egypt, he developed a close relationship with the Quran from childhood and completed its memorization by the age of thirteen. He continued his Quranic studies by learning Tajwid and became proficient in the narrations of Hafs ‘an ‘Asim and Shu‘bah ‘an ‘Asim. Over the years, he participated in Quranic competitions and events and received numerous awards and certificates, while also dedicating himself to teaching and helping others memorize the Quran. Alaa Aqel supervises a Quran memorization center affiliated with Al-Azhar, where dozens of students have completed the Quran under his guidance. He has also served as an Imam at Al-Noor Mosque in Makkah during Ramadan and was later selected to lead Ramadan prayers at Al-Akbar Mazhar Arifin Mosque in Indonesia, bringing his recitation and Quranic work to an increasingly international audience.
