So being blind does not mean “you chose blindness.” Being poor does not mean “you chose poverty.” Being sick does not mean “you chose sickness.” The condition you experience can belong to an enormous convergence of relations and Choices reaching far beyond the local Observer experiencing it. Consequence and guilt are two completely different Words. This is why collective Choice matters. Your Free Will creates sequences. Other Free Wills create sequences. Those sequences cross, affect one another and become the shared Reality everybody experiences from their own position. Sometimes you receive the consequence of a Choice you made. Sometimes another person’s Choice reaches your life. Sometimes the chain began generations before either local Observer can see its beginning. And even the body can carry the receipts of that history. Not because every biological condition can be traced to somebody making a morally bad Choice, but because bodies themselves arrive through already existing biological, environmental and relational sequences. You do not earn Free Will by choosing. You needed Free Will before Choice was even possible. CHOICE IS THE RECEIPT THAT FREE WILL WAS ALREADY THERE. And the Future? THE FUTURE IS THE SEQUENCE CREATED BY CHOICE, INCLUDING THE CONSEQUENCES OF CHOICES THAT WERE NEVER YOURS ALONE. Sometimes the receipt carries your purchase.
