my mom said she was going to let my niece play with my childhood dolls that i’ve yet to bring across the country with me and after seeing my face when she said it she went “okay or not nevermind sorry” like i didn’t let other kids touch them when i was a kid and took such good care of them im not letting anyone touch them now either 😭😭

when i was younger i wouldn’t even let my own sister touch mine. i felt so maternal towards them i wrote up my will and gave each of my dolls individual godparents, just incase of anything happened to me👀
