People like to make the argument that this stuff is anti capitalist but in the real world, we have reached the limits of what capitalism can do before it starts eating itself. If we don’t change something drastically, it’s over.

We need to add at least two more commandments here: Something about age/health for public officials because the shit that Mitch McConnell’s office is pulling is horrendous and they should be prosecuted for keeping that man in office. He should be ineligible and we need a third party to screen members in cases like this and Diane Feinstein. 2. We need to penalize Congress for lack of work. That means if they’re calling off session for no good reason (Looking at you Mike Johnson) they don’t get paid. I’m all for district work, and everyone deserves PTO. But this is the most unproductive Congress ever and we shouldn’t be paying them for doing shit nothing.
