I was raised in the South and we always said the blessing but I didn't realize it was a Southern thing. I still say my blessing even if it is by myself everytime I eat becauseI am grateful that God has given me that food to eat and that it will be nourishing to my body.

I’m southern & I even bless my dog’s food. I pray outloud over his food, and he won’t touch it til I say AMEN! 🤭 I didn’t realize this was a southern thing!

I always bless my food because I’m thankful that he provided it. I also bless my animals with food before I give their food to them. I’ve got a dog that won’t eat until you say Grace over his food. It is the cutest thing and I always love your talks your voice I can feel the love of God in and it always brings me joy. I come across you. Have a blessed day.
