@chefmeowvn: A Full Day Dating & Eating in Saigon ❤️🐱🇻🇳 A little throwback to the days when we were still dating — young, in love, and trying to enjoy Saigon without spending too much. 😹❤️ We started the morning with a Vietnamese baguette sandwich (bánh mì), and Orange wouldn’t let Meow pay because we were both pretty broke back then 😂. After that, we had sidewalk coffee (cà phê bệt) near Notre-Dame Cathedral and just watched the city go by. At noon, we stopped for broken rice with grilled pork (cơm tấm) at a sidewalk stall, then shared some Vietnamese mixed rice paper (bánh tráng trộn) for an afternoon snack. Later, we walked to the Saigon River and watched the sunset together. 🌇 When night came, we ended the day with a warm bowl of street-style noodle soup (hủ tiếu gõ) on the sidewalk. And just when we thought the day was over, Saigon gave us one more memory — a sudden tropical rain. No umbrella, no taxi… just the two of us walking home together in the rain. 🌧️❤️ Sometimes the best dates aren’t expensive at all.
