AI is not nearly consistent enough to be making these types of analyses in such extreme operations, this type of AI use simply shouldn’t be permitted for any military/government purposes

From a PHD in computer science and from a military. Yes that can happen but the AI model was scheduled or programmed to do that. By personalizing AI what they are doing is cleaning themselves from the responsibility. AI is a program… it can’t scape u less it was programmed to do that. So no sandbox no personification!

I said that to my son last night. (He’s 24, not trying to scare a child). He was telling me he didn’t see how AI could kill us - but he is thinking of Claude or ChatGTP. I explained that AI is handling a lot defense department jobs, making judgments, and I pointed out this story. I said the AI is not going to grow arms and reach out and choke us. The AI is going to start World War III and with all the nuclear bombs being dropped, if we don’t get vaporized, we will die of radiation sickness or from the irradiated food. If there is any food. This is why it is so important that the people we send to Washington understand the unimaginable responsibility that goes with that territory. And they’re just handing it out to AI, which is so prone to error!
