Do I need to pinch the skin? I have a very hard stomach so I don’t have any loose skin? I can pinch more toward the bottom but I can’t seem to pinch any round the top/middle area ? Xxx

For everybody, NO ! Longer needles doesn’t hurt more than the littlest. And I can tell u because I was afraid about it at the beginning 😱🫣😊

So when I use the small needle that comes with the pen I just jab it in 😂 If I use a longer needle do I need to jab the whole needle in at once or do I have to grab my fat and insert it more slowly? Also does it still go in at 90 degrees or more like 45 degrees. Hope that makes sense.

As a male myself, I can only try to explain the comparison to females, so here goes nothing, the needles you normally get with your pen are just little pricks, the larger needles are slightly thicker and longer, but !!!! They are still only little pricks !!! It all depends where you put them and using them correctly will determine what benefits you will gain from them. Rest assured though, they are only a little pricks

I tried 12,7mm insulin syringe and it was also much thicker for withdrawing GD. I was scared because it looked huge but it didn't actually hurt😁

I’m going to order longer ones when I order my next pen, I was thinking of trying the 8mm would that help or would you need the 12mm? xx
