@artsbytye: Claymation-Breakdown: Woxic 1v4 Tried my hand at a more structured shot breakdown for my latest Claymation CS video. The three stages you see within the specific element comparisons is Original Footage - Rotoscoped - Dithered. Generally doing some tracking with the rotoscoped footage on static shots but for the more complex shots (like moving camera in the FPS section, I do manual tweaking after the dithering stage when comping since it takes a lot of masking). Definitely inspired by the VFX breakdowns you see from studios who worked on movies. Did my best to choose complex shots to do the wiping between different stages of the video. Since I didn't really specify in the main post, the two elements that look way different (throwing the molotov and the bomb spinning) are from past videos that I reused assets from. They were from a weekly creation challenge I did a few years ago and kinda just existed on short videos that not many people saw so thought it would be a good place to showcase. I don't find as much enjoyment out of straight digital animation anymore but I appreciate all the things I learned that I can apply to the analogue things I do nowadays. As for what's next, pretty busy in the next few weeks so probably not gonna start on any big projects yet but definitely in that brainstorming phase. Got some good ideas that I want to flesh out more and some other small projects that I might sprinkle in here and there. Stay tuned, my Instagram is much more active for what I'm working on (@ArtsByTye) #cs2 #cs #counterstrike #counterstrike2 #claymation
