I was on adderall xr and 2 shorts at noon and 3pm it cause me to have insane Facial dystonia. I switched to vyvanse and 2 shorts and I was balls to the wall insane and now just take 1 short in the morning and 1 in the afternoon IF I really need it and i can say life changing I barely have to reach for my Xanax now which I know horrible to mix the two or three but I had to take it to calm down

I’ve been on adhd meds for years and never taken more than prescribed. Doing that is the indication you’re addicted not functioning better. Thats the point of the med lol

I was up to 250mg a day. Yes I was addicted. I don't drink or take anything else but I hated something controlling my life. My GF helped me taper off because I couldn't find help from anywhere and I have been clean a year and half and wouldn't touch another.

I was prescribed a high dose of vyvanse for 16 years. Finally off of it and 7 months later, I still feel like a shell of a person. Anyone else relate? How long has it taken others to rebuild dopamine and serotonin? Will I ever feel joy again?

I used to take SO much. Like popping them like crazy. Somehow i eventually realized I hate the way it was making me. Now I still get it, but I barely take it. Only when needed. I’m so proud of how far I’ve come bc going from 12-15 pills a day to 1 MAYBE 2 if it’s a long day, I never saw myself getting this far

I’m prescribed 64 mg a day and it just doesn’t work. But I’m scared to talk to my doctor about it because I don’t want them to think I am just trying to abuse them.

What about someone who’s on Adderall but not able to channel the focus to a useful place? I know Adderall is right for me and I don’t abuse it or take extra but I often find myself focusing on the wrong things and end up getting behind on important things..

Quit cold turkey two weeks ago and the first three days were HELL. I was crying in the bathtub one night thinking there’s absolutely no way I could do without it. Two weeks later and ive genuinely never felt better!!!!!
