Anytime a doctor says you’re too young ask them if they’ve ever visited a pediatric cancer unit and told them they’re too young. . Not common doesn’t mean not possible . 🥺

As an ultrasound tech I would never question why someone is getting a biopsy done. If it gives the patient a peace of mind then that’s it.

My dr wants me to get a mammogram & ultrasound for a lump in my breast but the imaging center refused & said they don’t do mammograms under the age of 33 lol

the way I see it, is if babies and toddlers can get cancer, then anyone can at any age. if someone has a lump or growth or sore that's persistent, and wants to move forward with treatment, wtf is it gonna hurt to just frikkin do it? doctors pmo I swear

As a healthcare worker, yes a lot of us do go home and think about you all. I’m sorry this experience happened, but truly a majority of us aren’t like that. Props to you for advocating for yourself

Mass or did they say cyst? My “cyst” is getting bigger and hurts. Plus they keep saying I have dense breast which to me it only means they can be excused of its not just a cyst because dense breast makes it harder to identify tumors

I was a BI-RADS 4 and they did a biopsy, it was negative and they won't remove it. Makes me worry that they're just hoping I forget.

I’m so glad you advocated for yourself, I’m trying to do the same, its taken months to even get imaging and now I’m waiting on a report and phone call while staring at this monster in my pocket health app trying not to think the worst. Seeing this video while in the middle of the same process makes me want to speak up for myself so much more. Thank you for sharing, I wish happiness and healing for you 💛

I went in at 22 for a lump I found. I was told it was “hormonal” and would go away on its own. Went back at 23, too young to be breast cancer and would go away. Went to a third doctor at 25 and she actually listened and sent me to get a mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy. Less than a week later I got a call asking me to go in to her office. I knew. It was in fact Breast cancer 😔. The first two doctors made me feel like I was crazy.
