Chenai you need to get housing lawyers- they’re free if you have universal credit. Also get spinal advocates who can help, there are housing specifically for you in different boroughs- contact Spinal Injuries association.

Are you not allocated a social worker/ caseworker/ while your in the hospital because of your condition you should have been allocated that on discharge or being discharged

Im sorry this is happening to you, disabled people are let down too much when it comes to housing. Social care and OT are the only ones who can support you in this, and unfortunately, for some reason, not enough accessible homes are built, but leaving you in hospital is just disgraceful when homes can be made accessible. Youre young and deserve to thrive and have your needs met. 💛

When i became disabled i applied for disabled housing through Manchester City Council but they had none available so I went private...Is that not a possibility for you ???

You need to complain to your MP and the local ombudsman of harringey council,if I was you I’d contact the solicitor that deal with housing, I had mould growth in my previous property,and lots of failed appointments from contractors and I took Islington council to court and won £5, 000
