@beccanomics101: Want to stop living paycheck to paycheck? Here’s your game plan: Track your spending for AT LEAST a month. Every dollar. You can’t change how you manage your money if you don’t know where it’s going. You need to be earning more money than you’re spending. This is how you create wiggle room! The only ways to do this are to increase your income or decrease your expenses (bonus points if you do both!!) But don’t go from zero to 100 or else you’ll hate your life and fail (not what we want), be realistic about it! Once you have wiggle room, set up an automatic transfer to your high-yield savings account to be used for emergencies only. Start with a goal of one month of expenses.
