The whole point of NFTs was the metadata showed provable ownership documentation. Its a fantastic technology very largely miss understood and was hyped for the WRONG people and reasons 🥴

To be fair, there’s was so much going on at the time. The world was just opening up after Covid, TikTok celebrities were making millions for doing dance trends, the Metaverse and Covid had everyone thinking society was going to shift into a new digital era, etc. so it was easy to get caught up in digital artwork and think it was an investment. Just as people were doing with purchasing land, houses, etc. in the Metaverse.
