@carrotlaneofficial: In November 2024 Bitcoin was the same price it is today. And in 2022 it was $65k. I know it’s pumped in the middle between then and now, but we still have to have the conversation about the opportunity cost of being married to one asset. I love Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin cooks this cycle. But the bigger it gets, the more enormous the buy pressure needs to be for it to outperform. And that creates some weird behaviour in bull runs. People start trading around their one asset or using leverage because they’re desperate to manufacture more upside. I think the antidote is to not go to the sea of opportunity with a teaspoon when it comes to BTC, but also drop the maxi energy. Be open to another ecosystem. There’s plenty of great technology out there. Payment layers, oracle networks, Layer 1s, digital art on Bitcoin. The best advice I was ever given…. Never be a maxi in anything.
