EQ genuinely loved Raven, yes words it wrong, but tries to be there for her. yeah shes evil, but when she was being tricked and talking about what lands to take over, EQ was excited to do something with Raven, meanwhile Snow was more bothered about Apples popularity

I kind of loved this scene. She IS more like her mother than she realizes, however the difference is how she uses the traits she got her from her mother. She uses those traits for GOOD. And I think that, regardless of what EQ SAYS she wants from Raven, she genuinely IS proud of her for besting her, and for the woman Raven is becoming. She is definitely an abusive/neglectful parent in many certain ways, but it’s very evident to the watchers/readers that she DOES have some sort of motherly love for Raven even if only to a point
