It’s great for browsing homes, getting a general idea of what’s happening in the market, and seeing what homes around you are listed for. But when it comes to figuring out what YOUR home is actually worth… I wouldn’t let a Zestimate make that decision for you. Your home’s value isn’t just based on an algorithm. It can come down to the condition of your home, upgrades you’ve made, the lot, location, recent comparable sales, what’s currently on the market, and even how much competition you’re up against when you decide to sell. Two homes can be on the same street and have completely different values. And if you’re thinking about selling, refinancing, or even just curious about your equity, it’s worth getting an actual look at the numbers instead of relying on one online estimate. So yes, keep scrolling Zillow Just don’t let Zillow tell you what your home is “worth” without looking at the bigger picture.
