I’ve heard Walmart is phasing in “dynamic pricing” meaning they set the price based on what the data they have collected on you indicates you will be willing to pay.

Looked at a baby shower registry on the Walmart app and went in store to purchase a baby bathtub. It was $10 more expensive in store. They wouldn’t price match in store, but I could buy it on the app then pull around to pickup and they’d load it in my car. They had to pay at least 2 employees to do that. Why not just let me purchase it in the store at the online price?!?!?!
