@felidaecentre: Meet our very special old boy… Bobby, or as we call him, Grandpa. ❤️🐒 Bobby has been through more than most animals should ever have to experience. Before coming to Felidae, he was attacked by a dog. He lost part of his tail and several toes in that terrible attack. The trauma and stress were so severe that he lost a huge amount of his hair. But somehow, through it all, Bobby kept going. ❤️ Today, in his old age, Grandpa is still enjoying the simple things in life, sunshine, attention, a safe place to call home, and the little treats that make his day special. Today’s treat? A piece of bread with a little peanut butter. 🥜🍞 And yes… he absolutely knows when the treat jar comes out! 😂 We keep treats like peanut butter limited because at his age, his health comes first. But every now and then, a little treat and a lot of love are more than enough to put a smile on Grandpa’s face. ❤️ Bobby reminds us that an animal’s past does not have to define its future. From a frightened, injured monkey who had suffered so much… to our beloved Grandpa who still enjoys his days with us.
