@ukcourtwatch: Mother To Admit Killing Three Children In Bristol 👇 FULL CASE DETAILS BELOW 👇 Yasmeen Ali, aged 44 and of no fixed address, is expected to admit killing her three young children at their family home in Sea Mills, Bristol. Ali was originally charged with three counts of murder following the deaths of seven-year-old Fares Bash, three-year-old Joury Bash, and nine-month-old Mohammed Bash in February 2024. Emergency services discovered all three children with catastrophic knife wounds to their chests and necks, with seven-year-old Fares also showing signs of asphyxia. Ali was scheduled to face a murder trial, but Bristol Crown Court heard that two independent psychiatric evaluations concluded the partial defence of diminished responsibility was available. Prosecutor Anna Vigars KC confirmed the Crown will accept pleas of manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility regarding Fares and Joury, and infanticide regarding nine-month-old baby Mohammed. The children's father, Alfil Bash, was consulted prior to the prosecution accepting the lesser pleas.
