I guess it kind of rounds off 343’s era perfectly. Despite them being a bunch of lacklustre games, they started with combat evolved and ended with combat evolved.

I'm not 100% looking forward to this but you need to understand it's not "Activision" a team is being assembled by Activision and will be working independently under the umbrella with funding etc, it doesn't sound like a massive difference but it is, it's not going to be affected by activisons management and the team will most likely closely operate and be managed directly by XBOX and maybe directly with Asha Sharma as she loves halo and wants it to be a flagship title, don't lose hope straight away

This is good for Halo and for the many tired Activision devs slaving away at COD. Activision at least knows how to push out games and they get a totally new IP to work on. The only fear I have is it taking the worst parts of COD with it like SBMM, disbanding lobbies, and brain rot maps and movement. I'm still optimistic though because this is the best deal we're ever going to get when it comes to Halo.
