Babies will sleep really well at this age. Then once 4 months hits they go through a regression because they mature to adult sleep. So they literally will wake every 45 minutes between sleep cycles and the routine will not help. I thought I had a down pat until we hit four months. Then we needed sleep training. I hate to say it, but if it was as simple as a bath and bottle routine, all babies would be sleeping through the night.

I’m feeling better that my baby isn’t the only one who loses their noodle every time they leave the bathtub. My 3MO loves bath time but freaks out when we take her out for drying and lotion - even if we heat her towel up 😅

My baby is a month behind yours and I cannot grasp matching up a feed with bedtime because I ebf on demand. 😭 I want him to have a consistent bedtime but I don’t understand how to make that line up!

6 weeks today and we have a very loose routine but ready to be more consistent. I thought bathing nightly wasn’t recommended, only 2-3 times a week. Maybe I am wrong!

How many naps does he take? I believe you said all his naps were short right because he didn’t like the crib so you’d either get short naps in it or do a contact nap.

I did the same with my son and he’s 6 now and is the best sleeper. Still to this day bath at the same time every night then we read and it’s bed time:)

How often is he up after the 2:30 mark? We get a 8:30-2/2:30 and then after 2:30 he’s up every 2-3 hours till morning
