I have a son-in-law who’s a deputy sheriff and the reason more than one officer shoots is that no one has to be sure if they were the bullet that killed them. It’s easier on them when they go through psych. It may be all pumped up in the moment, but I tell you why afterwards the fact that you took somebody’s life it hard on a lot of officers.
