The marines gave her sanctuary and purpose. She’d never betray the institution that basically rescued her from death. Cruz may carry immense emotional scars from what the CIA forces her to do, but her core identity is defined by the Marines who saved her and Joe who made her who she is. She is a protector, not a traitor.

I think it's the pilot, she was forced into this role, she had to betray her father, her father in return had to kill his brother, she got close to Cruz, and the pillow talk gave her all the info she needed to plot with Aliyah, hey the enemy of my enemy is my friend right 🤔, don't come for me, I truly think it's plausible

I love this theory. Sheridan laid the breadcrumbs in season 1 for sure. The muting of the mic when she was with Aaliyah so Kyle and Jo couldn’t hear.. her anger and hate towards Jo for making her go through w the mission even after she told Jo she was in love w Aaliyah - the first person she ever loved kind you. Ppl underestimate what two angry women in love are willing to do to be together and seek revenge 😂
