If you really want to preserve your battery set the charging limit to 80%. Choosing 80% instead of 100% reduces long-term battery degradation by 20-40%. Also going below 20% of charge repeadetly over years degrades the battery massively.

Mine is definitely faulty. Mine is at around 15% at the end of the day. The other day me and my husband were playing 8ball in iMessages for about 20 min (no apps running in the background) and his battery went down 1% while mine went down 6%. We both have iPhone 18 pro max, and got it on the same day. My battery goes down so quick. So disappointed

I recommend 80% battery limit to maintain the battery capasity for longer. I rarely buy a new phone so when i got the 17 pro max i quickly made sure to use optimal settings to reduce battery degradation

I’m pretty sure clean energy charging is good for your battery, it makes sure the proper voltage reaches the battery instead of low volts or too high to damage it keep it on
