what exactly is the joke? That is still a legitimate clinical method. Nurses are still taught how to use a manual BP cuff, and it’s still used in healthcare today. So using it as some kind of symbol of how “behind” someone is doesn’t really make the point you think it does. If anything, knowing how to take a manual blood pressure is a basic clinical skill,not something to be embarrassed about. You can have your preferences for newer technology, but mocking people for using a perfectly valid medical technique is a strange flex.
