I've gone to Little Caesars to grab my to go order, leave the car running and AC on, doors locked, keys in my hand. They were like 10 feet from me. 2 minutes in and out. Sorry not sorry.

Yup. I lock the doors and make sure it’s within viewing and run in and out. I wouldn’t do this if I lived in an unsafe city but in the suburbs where I live sure thing

mom of 2 here. I wish curbside pickup was a thing everywhere for parents with little kids in the car. I’ve called places to see if they would run something out and most of the time people are nice enough to do it.

In IL it’s allowed 10 mins. - if it were me, I’d park very close and make the run for it. If anything goes wrong and you’re in there for longer than 5, abort mission and go back to the car.
