Caramel Ice Cream Toast🍞🍨 Recipe👇 🛒 Ingredients 1 thick slice of white bread (about 5–6 cm thick) A little milk 1 small piece of butter (about 10–15 g) 50 g granulated sugar 50 ml cold water Ice cream (any flavor you like) 👨🏻‍🍳 Instructions 1. Prepare the Toast Cut a thick slice of white bread, about 5–6 cm thick. If you can't find thick-cut bread, ask a bakery for an unsliced loaf of white bread and cut a thick piece yourself. 2. Lightly Dip in Milk Pour a little milk onto a plate and quickly dip both sides of the bread. Do not soak it for too long, or it will absorb too much milk and become too soft. 3. Pan-Fry the Toast Add a small piece of butter to a pan and cook over medium-low heat. Slowly toast both sides until golden brown to deep golden brown, with a beautiful caramelized color. Remove the toast from the pan and set aside. 4. Make the Caramel Add 50 g of granulated sugar and 50 ml of cold water to a pan. Heat over medium heat. Do not stir with a spoon before or after the mixture starts boiling, as this may cause the sugar to crystallize. As the water evaporates and the syrup begins to change color, gently swirl the pan to distribute the color evenly. Once the caramel reaches an amber color, immediately turn the heat to low. 5. Coat the Toast with Caramel While the caramel is still fluid, quickly place the toast into the pan and coat both sides evenly. If there are any spots that haven't been covered, use a spoon to drizzle caramel over them. Alternatively, place the toast on a heatproof plate and pour the caramel over the top. Caution: Caramel becomes extremely hot. Never touch it with your hands. 6. Add the Ice Cream Once the caramel crust has set, cut a slit into the middle of the toast and fill it with ice cream.
