U don’t need to use the old bearing the tool that he is using has different size pieces for different bearings hence why it is flat , the set comes with a large bolt with a nut so when u tighten it the bearing goes down a lot easier than that method

I usually slit the old bearing with a grinder disk and that stops it getting stuck in. If it does put a screwdriver in the slit and rotate it out.

That's how I do it, though sometimes the old bearing can stick a little. The real issue is going to be if they have a 20 ton less lying around to press it in..

Run a line of weld in the old race, let it cool and when it shrinks it’ll fall out

no no no use a slightly smaller socket if you use the old rase it will get stuck use a socket that lines up with the outer rasa

Bearing was going in crooked. Also highly suggest freezing your bearing prior to pressing makes it go in so much easier.
