@rickythesteadyinvestor: What if every year you invested in the BEST-performing financial stock from the year before? 📈 So I ran the experiment. For 20 years, I found the financial company in the S&P 500 with the highest return the previous year. Then on the first trading day of the new year: $1,000 into that stock. $1,000 into the S&P 500. Dividends reinvested. Held through January 2026. Some of the picks were huge names — Bank of America, Equifax, MSCI, CME Group and Blackstone. And then there was Signature Bank… The question: when a stock has an incredible year, does that momentum continue — or are you buying after the best part already happened? The results surprised me. Would you rather own last year’s #1 financial stock or just buy the index? 👇 Historical backtest for educational purposes only.
