i was waiting so much for it to be revealed that nola lestat and rockstar lestat was him trying to act “normal” and we see his arrested development and whimsical behavior more as he lets down his guard. playing in my face.

this season had me so conflicted. i loved it, it was good tv and i appreciated the focus on lestat’s trauma… but it wasn’t an adaptation of the vampire lestat… and i was so excited for that because it’s probably my fave book of all time, i hated the interview with the vampire book but ADORED the first two seasons so i was going insane waiting for season three bc if they managed to make a book i hated into a masterpiece, imagine a book i love??? but then they didn’t even adapt it how you gonna have the vampire lestat without the vampire lestat’s backstory??? wow thanks for the 5 seconds of wolfkiller that wasn’t even in the right setting and the 2 seconds of nickistat where they didn’t even kiss!!! lestat and armand backstory? never heard it it!
