my doctors keep telling me that I need pap every year. I've had a complete hysterectomy (uterus ovaries cervix gone) I also have not been sensually active for well over 5 years and I dont have a family history of any kuchi diseases. do I still need a pap evert year after knowing all of the above?

I’m glad I had test done instead of believing it’s just anxiety. My left side of my heart only pumps 55% of blood, the right side has mitral valve regurgitation 🥺

I just switched my gynecologist because she told me that my insurance wouldn’t be happy if they had to pay for one of her chairs if I kept gaining weight at the rate I was at the time. I was 19 and gained 50 kg in the year after getting my IUD placed. She didn’t want take my blood to check my hormone levels, told me it was unnecessary, had to ask my gp to do it! Turns out they were off+ I was in a depressive episode 👍🏻 life laugh love Switzerland😂 I’m better now if anyone cares lol back down to 90kg from almost 130kg🫶🏻

I like you. Because you’re right. When I got my tubes tied when I was 22. All the doctors said they need to talk to my husband at that time. I told them hell no it’s not his body. We got divorced a year later. Women it’s our bodies don’t let a husband or boyfriend choose anything for you. Do what’s best for you

When my wife went for a consultation for a hysterectomy, I was with her. The doctor asked why I was there, I said it's sure as hell not to give you my approval, it's her body. He looked at me for a minute and said good, I don't listen to the husbands anyway 😁

OMG to #5! Me, in 2012, a single Mom of two, going to the Women's Health Pavillion, staffed by women to choose a permanent sterility option. I was told I needed to take two weeks to think about it, in part because of some supposed future partner may want children! I was already mid 30s in age but needed to take time to think?! I didn't change my mind, went back in two weeks to confirm my decision and still had to wait almost a month for the procedure to be scheduled. (I had the assure implants inserted into my fallopian tubes) I was so angry about not being trusted to know my own mind and body.
