when i was an unaccompanied minor they told me a bag that has been carry on everywhere could not be a carry on and i needed to exit the airport to check in the luggage so i went and did that and my chaperone left me as soon as i exited. i re-entered and tried to check in my bag and the person said that my flight is boarding so its too late and i cannot check it in so in true child fashion i threw the biggest fit and just cried my eyes out until they let me on the flight with my carry on 😅 never again

They tried to make me pay $200 for my carry on after I already checked 2 bags and I was about to be late for my flight… I stared that white lady in the face and broke down sobbing in front of her and she checked it for free

My first solo trip abroad was Paris when I turned 30. I got so lost in that big grey box I near cried and a security guard asked if he could help me, in English, because I looked like I might cry. And thank god he did bc I’d still be there to this day.
