@amber.accountability: Opening up and sharing more about life outside of debt payoff is extremely vulnerable to me. I feel that it opens the door for people to judge and analyze or criticize every decision we’ve made in the past and continue to make in our day to day lives. I am hopeful that the community that has been created here is what I truly believe it to be and is open and accepting of how we’ve lived our lives and how we live our lives moving forward, without judgement. I know that inevitably, my video will be shown to many outside this community and that may result at times in unfavorable comments, and I do NOT have a tough skin. Anytime there is negative comments on my videos that I see, against me or my husband; I take it extremely personally; I know I shouldn’t, but I haven’t fully learned how not to yet. I process that stuff with him and we tend to block when necessary, or I take a breather and move forward and do my best to ignore. I want this page to continuously be a place of positivity and hope. I personally feel like I live a fairly “boring” life, but maybe I need to shift perspective a bit. I am given the opportunity to have my health and my family and I should learn how to celebrate that more and find the sparkle in the mundane. Romanticize the life we have, if you will. So, please bear with me as I try to learn how to grow and expand and hopefully blossom. These posts will stay here and stay consistent, don’t worry. I plan to bring back the financial reset. I have the full plan worked out and I put together a workbook; I am just pressuring myself to pre record all of it before I launch it again. And I am working on a budgeting spreadsheet. I could share mine that I personally use, but it is geared towards budgeting annually and having a seperate account for bills only that has a built in buffer; so I’d like to create a basic version of mine as well for more of a paycheck to paycheck experience 🙃 And if you’ve read this long - and watched the 5.5 minute long video; you’re a real one.
