@kianilarose: it’s me and her against the world 💞 having a Cane Corso service dog has improved my quality of life tremendously. because of “scary dog privilege", I finally feel safe in public as a woman who lives with CPTSD (amongst other physical & mental disabilities). my body has slowly left survival mode & I’m no longer living in a constant state of fear/anxiety thanks to Kora. being that she is a Cane Corso, a guardian breed, she is naturally attentive & alert. these dogs were bred to hunt, guard, & protect. many people see my service dog videos or meet Kora in person & think they want a dog just like her. y’all have no idea the amount of socialization & training that has gone into this dog. because of the consistent daily work that we do, Kora is not only an amazing service dog, she is also a reliable dog too. Kora knows the difference between when she is working & when she isn’t. there is no excuse for barking or showing any type of aggression towards people, animals, etc while she is working. that being said, Kora has ZERO protection training. she doesn’t even have a bark task lol. this is just a great example of genetics & hard work. her genetics don’t make her any less of a service dog; they make her Kora 🐺🤎
